The Wild Animal Park

Having a little time off, we took the lad to the San Diego Wild Animal Park.  We had a great time and have some great pics.

The new BIKE!!!

Along with his first Easter, James got his first bicycle!  A Thomas the Train special edition.  He took to it instantly and is going to be hard to keep up with.

James' first Easter was great.  The complex had a huge egg hunt and he was right in the middle of it.

Yes, it has been a while but we have a 3-year old to deal with.

Thanksgiving was a great deal of fun.  James got to finally meet his two cousins who live Washington state. James and Emma(on the left) and Sarah (on the right)had a great time together.

And then of course, Christmas! James was nearly injured it the toy avalanche that arrived for him.  It was great.

And what would living in California be without a trip to a visit to one of various parks.  We hit Legoland.  A great time was had by all.  James got his first roller coaster ride and got to drive  car.  It was a great day.

Sorry that it has been a while.   James had the surgery to close his palate on October 24th and things have been just a little hectic here.  Before his surgery he got to visit the pumpkin patch and then dressed up like a frog for Halloween.He also got his first "real" haircut.  He is recovering well from the surgery but it is going to be some time with speech therapy.

Some events from the past month.  James went to the Long Beach Aquarium, got his first US haircut and got dressed up to go with Dad to the AP Reading at Colorado State next year.  the adventures have been good.  We also got him set to to start on getting his cleft palate fixed, so things are moving along.
